Kids can discover the Joy of Sewing - No Experience Needed!
9:30 am - 12:00 pm
This 2.5 hour Intro-to-Sewing Camp gives students ages 7-18 the opportunity to learn sewing. Even if your child has never touched a sewing machine, they will learn all the basics and leave with their very first machine-sewn project. All supplies are included, and sewing machines are provided for use during the class. In this hands-on class, they will learn essential skills such as: how to operate a sewing machine, fabric cutting and safe handling, pressing and trimming techniques, plus foundational sewing methods your child can build on.
This class is the pre-requisite class for the weekly summer camps.
