After School Sewing Classes for St Paul’s Students
2nd - 8th Starting Tuesday Sept 1st (returning*)
Kindergarten & 1st Starting Monday Sept 14th (new)
This 8-week sewing course teaches essential sewing skills and is designed for new or returning sewists.
*Pre-requisite: Intro to Sewing Class is required for new Tuesday students
Intro to Sewing is included in the Monday or Thursday new K&1st grade student class option
Class starts roughly at 3:00 pm after walking over from pick-up area, and ends at 4:30 pm.
Each 1.5 hr class teaches essential sewing skills, like fabric cutting, ironing, trimming, and using a sewing machine.
Classes are held in the Father Kelly room and children are picked-up in the grassy kindergarten area afterschool. Parents may pick up child/children from Father Kelly room at 4:30pm or they will be walked over to Extended Day.
This 8-week sewing session teaches essential sewing skills, including hands-on experience with the sewing machine, cutting fabric, ironing and trimming. Curriculum is designed for returning sewists or students who have taken the Intro to Sewing class*.
Classes are held in the Father Kelly room.
